Chrisnepts on Machinima

Hello people.

Slow progress on the T.F.S front, blame the Bad Company 2 and Alien Vs Predator Demo for that one..... Awesome times, although hope AVP is better in the full version.

As one of "Darknal's T.F.S Crew" a young member of my crew who has been loyal in turning upto shoots etc has been moved to Machinima and are showing his "Spartan Squad Alpha" series which Chrisnepts has based off my series 'The Forgotten Spartans'. Although this series is not linked directly to my movie, as he can only use the story I have already shown, I have done some voices for him for all his hard work in my episodes. Remember it's his story, not mine, and I do not work with him on his series, but am happy if he chooses to use my current story if it helps him become more successful in the Machinima world :)

As far as I'm aware, part 1 is up on Machinima's channel but I'm sure he'll comment this post and so you can click on his blog from here.

He is a much younger Director than myself and bare in mind his first episodes are mainly first attempts and his more recent episodes get better as he learns and improves his skills so I would ask for your support and I'm sure he'll be able to take on board critism and good feedback for taking the time to entertain Halo fans as I do.

Kind Regards
Darknal

Yea good work chrisnepts.
Ive seen all your parts. I thought you had already created part 3? Or are you saying it will be up on Machinima.com this week.
thanks,

I'm saying Part 3 will be going up onto their channel this week, but feel free to check it out at my channel, but remember the version on M.com is slightly different to the one on my channel.
Thanks again, matt.

thanks chrisnepts,
i understand that your trying to be honest 'anonymous', but if you don't like it then don't comment just because you have nothing better to do. I think he could do a better job seeing as this is his first Machinima on his own, but i think he did an exellent job on his first try and i hope to see more of SSA on youtube soon.

P.S. to chrisnepts, i'm sure this is just because of a lack of actors or something else minor but, when the teams start to head out from a position there seems to be a delay on the third actor. If you could try to keep them moving together it would increase the quality of the series.
thanks,
-NH

Yeah, unfortantly that is something where trying to over come now. In Part 3 + theres more of 3 people moving at once, due to I used to body act all by myself, and was nearly impossible to do three controllers. But i got some help from my friend DG TKO157 he has made it a bit easier for me :) So yeah, enjoy Part 3 when it goes up, The Invasion will also be up (MW2 Machinima short) and then Part 4+5 within a week or two.

PS - Anonymous, like Night hawk said if you don't have any constructive critism, don't even bother typing, You have not created anything half as good, nor quater as good. So just shut up, and let us get on with our machinimas, instead of having to deal with trollers like you on the internet 24/7. I Rest my case.

It was pretty good, some of the voices could use work but that's ok (seeing as in all honesty Conan's voice reminded me of batman). What was the first song in episode 1?

Chrisnepts, how hard is it to make a series?

chrisnepts said...

Well it depends on the amount of effort you put in, i kinda rushed the first two parts of SSA, and Part three is experiencing Copyright issues with some of the songs, so i could either leave it, or not. So i'm recreating the 3 Parts in a whole one part special, about a 20+ Minute special, and that'll take about about a week or two, but it really depends on how much experience, and free time you have.

I hope you don't mind me asking this but what is it like doing machinimas with Darknal. I can only assume that it is amazing.

Yes, working with darknal is an amazing experience, i have learned alot from him, and he is probably the number 1 reason why i got into machinima, if it wasn't for him, i'd probably just be doing glitch videos and gameplays, but he has expanded my horizons, and i'm glad i went into that game of legendary brawl and how we met :3
